Over the next two weeks, while staying secluded at Winston’s private estate, Brooklyn worked side-by-side with his investigative team. Safe behind high security gates, she watched from a distance as her in-laws executed their cover-up.
Winston’s technical analysts successfully intercepted digital communications between the Whitfield family members. Vivien, panicked by the police inquiry, had tried to delete the video she recorded on the dock that morning. However, Winston’s cybersecurity experts recovered the uncompressed cloud backup from her device.
The video was chilling. It clearly showed Marlene shoving the transfer papers at Brooklyn, Cory deliberately blocking the pier exit, and the horrifying four-second clip of Brooklyn falling backward into the water. Most damning of all was the audio: after Brooklyn fell and cried out for help, Marlene’s cold voice could be heard whispering directly into the microphone: "Don't move. Put the phone down. Let the cold water do the work."
Furthermore, forensic accountants uncovered that within forty-eight hours of reporting Brooklyn missing, Bradley had already visited her Bridgeport bank branch with an expedited copy of the missing-person police report, attempting to freeze and claim her $180,000 balance under emergency spousal provisions. The bank manager had denied the transfer pending a formal death certificate, which sent the Whitfields into a frantic rush to expedite legal probate.
"They aren't even mourning you," Winston observed as he reviewed the bank surveillance footage showing Bradley smiling outside the branch. "They are treating your life like an overdue lottery ticket."
"I gave nine years of my youth to that man," Brooklyn said, her voice steady and devoid of tears. "I worked double shifts on Thanksgiving and Christmas so he could build his company. I will not rest until every single one of them faces justice."

He intends to use the event to publicize his grief, solicit community donations, and pressure the county judge to declare you legally deceased."
