Madeline Carter agrees to marry billionaire heir Christopher Harrington after her desperate father reveals that the marriage will erase their crushing debts while satisfying a clause in the Harrington family trust requiring Christopher to marry before his thirtieth birthday. There is only one horrifying problem: Christopher has been in a coma for nine months and cannot consent.
